I want to get admission in MDS (Oral Pathology & Microbiology) and for that I want to get the details of admission and eligibility criteria so can you provide me that?

Sharda University was established back in the year of 2009 and it is a leading Educational institution based out of Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. It is a venture of the renowned SGI group, the University.

Eligibility Criteria of MDS (Oral Pathology & Microbiology):
Candidates must have passed Recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognized Dental College under Section 10(2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council

Candidates who possess PG Diploma recognized by the DCI with the duration of 2 years (proposed) in particular specialty is eligible for admission in MDS in the same specialty and the duration will be 2 years.

Admission Procedure:
Candidates shall be selected strictly on the basis of their academic merit.
For determining the academic merit, the University may adopt any one of the following procedures both for P.G. Diploma and MDS degree courses:
-On the basis of merit as determined by a competitive test conducted by the State Government
-On the basis of merit as determined by a centralized competitive test held at the national level; or
-On the basis of the individual cumulative performance at the first, second, third & Final B.D.S. examinations, if such examination have been passed from the same university; or
-Combination of (1) and (3)

Hi I would like to know the eligibility for the MDS in Peridontolgy which is offered at Sharda University as my sister would like to pursue the course?

School of Dental Sciences (SDS) at Sharda University was established in 2006. It offers value-based intellectual growth by offering state-of-the-art courses. Basic Eligibility

An applicant for admission to the MDS course (Master of Dental Surgery) should have a Recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognized Dental College under Section 10(2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council
Applicant not possessing a recognized Dental qualification for the above purpose should secure the prior approval of his qualifications by the Dental Council of India before he can be admitted to the MDS Course of any University in India.
Applicant who possesses PG Diploma recognized by the DCI with the duration of 2 years (proposed) in particular specialty is eligible for admission in MDS in the same specialty and the duration will be 2 years. The syllabus of 2 years programme will be as per the University guidelines.
In the case of a overseas national, the Dental Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the postgraduate tuition restricted to SDS, to which he is admitted for the time being exclusively for postgraduate studies.
Provided that additional temporary registration to such foreign national must be subject to the condition that such person is duly registered as dental practitioner in his own country from which he has obtained his basic dental degree and that his degree is acknowledged by the corresponding dental council or concerned authority.
