Gateway High School serves roughly around 450 economically, racially, ethnically, and intellectually diverse high school students (grades 9-12) from the San Francisco community and the surrounding Bay Area.

Academic Program

The academic program of Gateway High School provides each student with a rigorous and broad college preparatory education. All the academic courses are standards-based, incorporating California State Standards as well as its particular stress on process of learning, commitment to community, and integrity.
