He is working at Tissue Engineering and Cancer Research Laboratory is supported by the SRM University.

Goals

• To explore naturally available biomaterials and synthetic nano materials for developing potential scaffolds to augment bone loss.
• To study the role of various microRNAs regulating mesenchymal stem cell differentiation towards osteoblasts in treating bone loss.
• To understand the molecular mechanisms of breast cancer mediated bone metastasis and study the possible roles of microRNAs in breast cancer progression.
• To train both undergraduate and post graduate students in their final year projects, who will contribute to the manpower required for this field in the country.
