Please give me self study tips for preparation of the IPS exam as I want to appear in this exam after B.Tech(CSE)?

Hey, as you are an engineering graduate you can appear in the IPS exam . for doing preparation you have to do concentration on your studies.

Preparation tips :
First of all take syllabus and give a look on it .
Make schedule.

Collect study material.

Purchase notes and books.

You can download or can purchase previous year papers.

Clear basics.

Firstly go through easy subject with the less time .

More time you have to give in difficult subject.

Attend mock tests

Practice more and more

Revise topics time to time

Don’t depend on last time preparation.


Syllabus of the IPS Entrance Exam

Quantitative Aptitude
Verbal Ability
DI/DS
Reasoning Ability
General Awareness

Main Examination will comprise of the following papers.
Paper I - One Indian language – This will carry 300 marks
Paper II – English – This will carry 300 marks
Paper III – Essay- This will carry 200 marks
Paper IV&V - General Studies - This will carry 300 marks
Paper VI-IX - Any two optional subjects – Each paper will carry 300 marks
