Selection For JEE Advanced

Hi Guys I have appeared in JEE Main and I will get its Result in 20-30 days. Would you please tell me what is the Selection Procedure for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced? Will it on the base of Merit List or on particular cut off score? If there is any cut off of Main for JEE Advanced selection, then please provide me that cut off for all category candidates.

I want to know the selection process for JEE Advanced Exam so will you please tell me?

The candidates will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced Exam on the basis of their JEE Main Score.

JEE Advanced Selection Process-

Top 75750 (50.5%) from the common merit list (CML)

Top 40500 (27%) from Other Backward Classes-Non creamy layer OBC(NCL),

Top 22500 (15%) from Scheduled Caste(SC)

Top 11250 (7.5%) from Scheduled Tribe(ST) candidates 5% of total seats in each category are reserved for PwD candidates (i.e. 2272 GE-PwD, 1215 OBC (NCL) - PwD, 675 SC-PwD and 338 ST-PwD)

For securing admission in IITs and ISM you should either be in category wise top 20 percentile in class XII or must have scored at least 75% aggregate marks for general and OBC-NCL or 70% aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

JEE Advanced scores are accepted across India for admissions into IITs and NITs.
