Deputy Field Officer. DFO jobs are available with RAW i.e. Research and Analysis Wing. RAW is India's external intelligence agency and its function is to handle counter-terrorism, covert operations and external Intelligence. Deputy Field Officer is accountable for collecting information and provides it to Field Officers. Then to senior field officer and at last to controlling officers who are IPS and Joint Secretary etc. DFO post is equivalent to that of DSP in police. The details required for the SSC Deputy Field Officer Cabinet Section exam: Eligibility: One should have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from Recognised University. Age Limit: The age should in between 20-27 years. Pay Scale: The Pay scale is Rs.9300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- Exam pattern: Prelims Mains Interview Selection Procedure: Selection is based on Preliminary Examination as well as Main Examination. After qualifying the aspirants will be called for the interview and then the selection will be based on the overall performance.
