Here is the eligibility criteria Age Limit for Section Officer (Audit) Examination There should be age between 18-25 years but relaxable in case of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes, Departmental Candidates and few such other reserved categories of persons as specified by the commission. Educational Qualification Section Officer (Audit) Examination Must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks. Here is the exam syllabus Paper I Part A - English Language: Question in this test will be based on error recognition, fill in the blanks(using verbs, prepositions, articles, etc.) vocabulary, spell in sequence of sentence in a paragraph, sequence of words in a sentence, close passage and comprehension passage etc. Synonyms and antonyms will be asked in the context of the given passage. The standard of questions will be only of the 10+2 level. Part B - General Awareness: Question in this test will aim at measuring knowledge of current events besides knowledge of General Science/Social Science and their application to the society. This test will also include questions on sports, culture, history, geography, general polity etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline. Paper II Arithmetic: This test will be include questions on problems relating to percentages, ratio and proportions, average estimation, use of table and graphs, menstruation, time and distance, ratio and time etc. Here is the exam pattern I - Written Exam II - Interview I - Written Exam The subjects of examination, the time allowed and maximum marks for each subject will be as follows: Paper I Part A: English Language (Objective type) - 100 Marks Part B: General Awareness - 100 Marks Paper II Arithmetic (Conventional type) - 100 Marks |
