The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) was an annual engineering college entrance examination in India. It was used as the sole admission test by the fifteen Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian School of Mines (also known as ISM Dhanbad) and IIT BHU. The JEE Advanced exam is the gateway to admissions at the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology and at ISM Dhanbad. A total of 9,784 seats are available across the various IITs and ISM Dhanbad.
