SCRA Physical Standard
What is the physical Standard to be eligible for SCRA exam? My son is physical weak but he is deadly want to apply for the SCRA exam so If I can know about the physical Standard for it then I will talk about him to switch for other options.

Union Public Service Commission conducts the Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) Examination for the selection of candidates in Mechanical Department of Indian Railway. SCRA Physical Standards: Aspirants should be physically fit and according to physical standards for admission to Special Class Railway Apprentice examination. SCRA Eligibility criteria- Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination Age Limit:- 17-21 years. Upper Age Relaxation:- SC/ST - 5 years OBC - 3 years SCRA Exam pattern- Paper Subject Time Maximum Marks Paper-I General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test) 2 hours 200 Paper-II Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) 2 hours 200 Paper-III Mathematics 2 hours 200 Total 600 Part II Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination. |
