Date of Notification - 11.10.2014 (11th October 2014)
Last Date: 07-Nov-2014 ( Application ).
SCRA 2015 Exam Date: 18-Jan-2015 (Sunday)

Education Qualification:

Candidates should have 1st or 2nd division in class 12th and have studied subjects like Mathematics and the Chemistry & Physics as in the qualifying exam with minimum 55%/60% marks and must be recognized from the University.

Chemistry:
General Principles & Some Basic Concepts In Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics , Organic Compounds Containing Halogen , Processes of Isolation of Metals ,Equilibrium, Periodicity ,Classification Of Elements, Solutions ,Chemical Bonding And Molecular Structure, States Of Matter, Hydrocarbons and so on.


English language:
Basic Concepts related to English Grammar & Compositions.


Mathematics:
Continuity and Differentiability ,Algebra, Vector Algebra, Trigonometry, Complex Numbers, Permutations and Combinations, Limit, Differential Equations , Integral Calculus, Quadratic Equations, Sets, Relations & Function and so on.

As per my knowledge the SCRA exam will held once in a year. The Special Class Railway Apprentice examination is conducted by UPSC. The SCRA is conducted every year Only Once by the UPSC.

The SCRA exam held on each year in month of July for higher government posts like Civil Services, Forest services and many.

The notification each year appears across the country in the month of February.

SCRA are absorbed as Class-1 officers in Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME).


SCRA Important Dates(expected)

Notification Date: October, 2015
Last Date to Apply: November, 2015
SCRA Exam Date: January, 2016

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics.


Age Limit:
Age should be between 17 to 21 years
Upper age limit is relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST
3 years for OBC.
