Re: Score Of JEE Main

Hey buddy the admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions accept the JEE Main score for the admission

The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.

The States of Gujarat, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system.

The JEE Main Score will be releasing in April 2016

Official JEE Main scorecard will not be issued by CBSE, via post or any other medium. Candidates will have to download it online, from the official website.

The score will be displayed after login by entering the Application Number and the Password.

This printed copy will serve as JEE Main scorecard in the counselling and further rounds of admission.

Though, it is not a vital document but it might come handy during the counselling and the admission period.

JEE Main Normalized Score (C) = 0.6x A + 0.4x B

Where:

A is JEE Main 2016 Score
B is Class XII Normalized Score
Now, A will be determined as per the performance of the candidate in each section, of the Main paper. It will be announced by CBSE as JEE Main Result.

e.g: Let a candidate’s JEE Main score be 150. So A= 150.
