It is one of the most challenging areas of engineering, Aerospace Engineering deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space and defense systems.

They can work as senior executive engineers in private airline companies. Some of those companies are

Indigo
Spice Jet
Jet Airways.

They can also work in helicopter companies like
Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited
Sai Avionics Private Limited
J. S. Lamps Private Limited.

These graduates can also find job opportunities in various private flying clubs.
B.Tech graduates in Aerospace Engineering can find exciting career opportunities in public sector.

There are many vacancies for Aerospace Engineers in Government owned research organizations and aircraft manufacturing companies.

An Aerospace Engineer is expected to undertake following duties:

Carrying out ground-level flight testing
Collecting and analyzing test data
Estimating project costs and timescales.

The average salary of an Aerospace Engineer is INR 35, 000 to INR 40,000 per month. The maximum salary offered to an Aerospace Engineer graduated from IITs is INR 15 lakhs per annum
