Salary Offered:

Qualification criteria for Scientist/Engineer Job:

National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC)

1. Scientist/Engineer – SC:

M. Tech in Geoinformatics after obtaining B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Geoinformatics or

M. Tech in Computer Science/Geo-informatics or any degree equivalent to it after completing B.E/B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geo-informatics, Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or

M. Tech or its equivalent degree in Urban, City or Town Planning. They have to pursue the concerned postgraduate degree after B.Arch. or

M. Tech in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing/Geomatics after B.E/B. Tech, one should obtain or

M. Sc degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Geophysics or

M. Sc. Tech degree in Electronics with Specialization in Optics or Spectroscopy or

M.Sc in Geography, M.Tech in Geoinformatics or M.Sc in Geoinformatics or

B.Tech in Geoinformatics/Electronics/Civil Engineering or M.Tech in Remote Sensing or

M.Tech/M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc degree in Geology or Applied Geology. M.Sc degree holders should have studied Mathematics/Physics during their B.Sc degree or

M.Sc degree holders in Agriculture are eligible to apply if they have taken specialization in Soil, Agricultural Physics or Agricultural Meteorology or

M.E/M.Tech degree holders in Aeronautical or Instrumentation Engineering are eligible for this post or

M.Tech degree in Photogrammetry after B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering, they are eligible for this post or

M.Sc.Tech or M.Sc in Geophysics/Electronics/Computer Science/Physics can apply for this vacancy or

MBA in Finance along with M.Sc.Tech/M.Sc in Physics/Computer Science or B.E/B.Tech in any stream, then they are eligible to apply for this post or

B.Arch degree, B.E/B.Tech degree in IT/Computer Science/ECE, M.E/M.Tech degree in Architecture or M.Arch or


2. Scientist/Engineer – SD:
Candidates should have Ph. D in Agriculture with specialization in either Soil or Agricultural Physics. Otherwise they have to obtain Ph. D in Geology


Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC)

Scientist/Engineer-SC (Visual Communication)
Candidates have to obtain Master of Design degree in Visual Communication or its equivalent with minimum of 60% marks.

Scientist / Engineer-SC (Electric Power Systems / High Voltage Engineering)
Candidates are required to obtain M.E/M.Tech in Electrical Power System or High Voltage Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

Scientist / Engineer-SC (Chemical)
B.E./B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering is required with minimum of 65% marks.

Scientist / Engineer-SC (Civil)
Candidates should complete their B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 65% marks.

Scientist Engineer- SC (Computer Science)
Candidates need to obtain B.E./B.Tech or any equivalent degree in Computer Science Engineering with minimum of 65% marks.

Scientist Engineer- SC (Human Resources)
Candidates should have first class MBA degree in Human Resources along with a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree in any stream with minimum of 65% marks.


Space Applications Centre (SAC)

Scientist/Engineer – SC (Geophysics/Geology)
M.Sc/M.Tech degree holders in Geology/Geophysics are eligible for this post.

Scientist/Engineer – SC (Water Resources Management)
M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering (specialization in Water resources) is required to apply for this post.

Scientist/Engineer – SD (Geology/Geophysics)
Ph.D in Geology/Geophysics is required with experience in the field of Geology, Geophysics, Lunar or Planetary Geosciences.

Scientist/Engineer – SC (Physical Oceanography)
Candidates need to obtain M.Sc/M.Tech degree in Physical Oceanography.

Scientist/Engineer – SD (Forestry)
Ph.D in Forestry is required for this post.

Scientist/Engineer – SD (Physical Oceanography)
Ph.D in Physics or Physical Oceanography is needed for this post with research experience in the field of Marine Optics, Coastal Zone Management or Ocean Colour Remote Sensing.


Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC)

Scientist/Engineer – SC
Candidates need to complete M.Sc in Agriculture/Horticulture after obtaining B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering from any Agricultural Engineering College approved by AICTE. Otherwise they have to complete 4 year B.Sc (Honours) in Agriculture course

Candidates are required to obtain M.Sc in General Chemistry or
B.E/B.Tech or its equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is required for this post.


ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC)

Scientist/Engineer- SC (Thermal Engineering)
Candidates are required to obtain M.E/M.Tech or its equivalent degree in Thermal Engineering to apply for this post

Scientist/Engineer- SC (Aerospace Engineering)
M.E/M.Tech degree or its equivalent degree in Aerospace Engineering is needed for the candidates who want to get into this post

Scientist/Engineer- SC (Power Electronics)
Candidates should obtain M.E/M.Tech or its equivalent degree in Aerospace Engineering to become eligible for this post

M.E/M.Tech degree in Industrial Safety is the required qualification for this post. But the candidates need to obtain this degree after completing B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering. Those who possess M.E/M.Tech in Turbo Machinery are also eligible for this post if they have completed their B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.

M.E/M.Tech holders in Structural Engineering can apply if they possess B.E/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Preference will be given for the candidates having 3 years of experience in Detailing of RCC Structures, Design, Analysis and Construction.
