Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is National Volunteer Organization was founded in 1925. RSS volunteers participated in various political and social movements including the Indian independence movement. By the 1990s, the group had established numerous schools, charities and clubs. The organisations within the Sangh include the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Vanbandhu Parishad, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Vidya Bharati, Seva Bharati.This organisation now making stronger inroads into rural, Adivasi areas as well.
