School of Planning and Architecture Admission Criteria

Hello I have passed 12th and now want to do undergraduate course from the School of Planning and Architecture so please tell me what is the eligibility criteria required to get admission in the undergraduate course? If possible than also provide me the prospectus of it?

The School of Planning and Architecture was established in the year 1941 and is located in New Delhi.

The SPA is offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs under the architecture, planning and design departments.

The undergraduate degrees offered at School of Planning and Architecture are Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning with a total of 141 available seats. Master of Planning, Master of Architecture, Master of Building Engineering and Management, and Master of Landscape Architecture are the postgraduate courses offered at SPA.

Eligibility

Candidates shall be eligible for admission to the First Year of the Bachelors Degree programme in Architecture or Planning if they have obtained at least 50 percent marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject in the Class 12th or qualifying examination.

Qualifying Exam:
Candidates must have a valid scorecard of JEE Main Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education; selection will be based on this examination.

SPA Masters in Planning:

Master of Planning in Urban & Regional Planning
Master Of Planning (Environmental Planning)


Eligibility for Masters in Planning:

Candidates must have passed B. Arch. / B. Plan. OR B. E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum 55% aggregate
OR
M.Sc. / M.A. in (Geography/ Economics / Sociology) with a minimum 55% aggregate

Admission procedure:

Performance in the qualifying examination,
Portfolio of work,
Personal Interaction with the program faculty and / or written test
Interest and motivation for the chosen study and
Work Experience.
