B.A.LL.B.[Hons.] Degree course offered by School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) - The Tamilnadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University is of five years duration.

Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters and each semester consists of 90 working days. B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Degree is awarded on successful completion of the course. No split degree is issued during the pursuance or on exit in the midst of the 5 year integrated course.

Eligibility
One should have passed Higher Secondary Exam (10+2) OR its equivalent exam recognized by the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and should have secured minimum 70% of the total marks in the aggregate of all the subjects.

One belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities should have secured minimum 60% of the total marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

One who make a claim under the Non-Resident Indians (NRI) category, one should have secured minimum 60% in the qualifying exam.

Age:
One should not have completed 21 years of age. For candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities has no age limit.

Intake
The number of students to be admitted shall be 180 (inclusive of NRI).

NRI Quota:
Out of the total number of seats 15% has been earmarked for NRI candidates.
