State Bank of india is the largest bank in India having also biggest bank in term of recruitments than any other bank.

Current SBI PO salary and Pay Scale is given here in detail.

Scale I - Rs. 14500 - (600x7) 18700 - (700x2) - 20100 (800x7) - 25700

The compensation per annum at Mumbai is around Rs.
8,55,000/-.

The break up of monthly compensa tion is as under:
Cash Component : 36,046/-

Housing (Lease Rental) : 29,500/-

Bank's contribution to PF : 1,690/-

Perquisites (Conveyance, Newspapers, Entertainment
allowance, House & Furniture Maintenance etc. 4,130/-

In addition, the officers are also entitled to other benefits like –

(i) Home Travel Concession/Leave Fare Concession

(ii) Medical Aid for self (100%) and for family (75%)

(iii) Concessional Interest Rates for Housing/Car/Personal Loans

Allowances:

(a) Dearness Allowance (DA) :
The current DA is 110.70% of the Basic Pay

(b) HRA :It can be either 6.5% or 7.5% or 8.5% depending on the place of posting.

(c) CCA : This also depends on the place of posting and can be either 4% (maximum Rs.540/-) or 3%(Maximum Rs.375/-) or 0%
