The last date to apply for State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer on-line Registration form was 07th May 2015.

Other important dates are:

Commencement of on-line registration of application 13th April 2015

Closure of on-line Registration of application 07th May 2015

Closure for editing application details 07th May 2015

Last date for printing your application 22nd May 2015

Online Fee Payment 13th April 2015 to 07th May 2015

The Exam will be held in the month of June 2015 (Tentatively)

Eligibility:
The Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Govt.

Age limit:
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

i) Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe - 5 years
ii) Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) - 3 years
iii) Persons With Disabilities (PWD)
a) PWD (SC/ST) - 15 Years
b) PWD (OBC) - 13 Years
c) PWD (Gen) - 10 Years

Selection Procedure
Admission selection is based on 3 stages:

Phase-I (Preliminary Exam)
Phase- II (Main Exam)
Phase-III Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)

Phase-I (Preliminary Exam)

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online; this test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

i. English Language - 30 questions; 30 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour
ii. Quantitative Aptitute - 35 questions; 35 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour
iii. Reasoning Ability- 35 questions; 35 marks; duration - Composite time of 1 hour

Phase- II (Main Exam)

Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks

Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer

Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered

i) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)

ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English language (Letter Writing & Essay)

Phase-III Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
