SBI Clerk Qualification for OBC

Hi I am belongs to the OBC category and I want to apply for the State Bank of India Clerk exam so tell me the educational qualification required to apply for this exam for OBC category students? Also tell me the minimum age limit for this exam?

SBI Clerk do the recruitment on the post of Assistant in Clerical Cadre in its various branches


Qualification for the OBC candidates

You must be a graduate or equivalent degree holder from a state or centrally recognized university.

Final year students of graduation may also apply subject to the condition that if they are called for personal interview

There is 3 years relaxation for the OBC non creamy layer candidates


You must be a citizen of India.


SBI Clerk 2016 Exam Pattern


Questions will be objective type/multiple choices in nature.

There are 5 sections in the question paper –

(i) General Awareness

(ii) General English

(iii) Quantitative Aptitude

(iv) Reasoning Ability

(v) Marketing Aptitude/Computer Knowledge.

All the questions would be in Hindi and English except the English section.

Each section would be of 40 marks.

Total marks in the exam are 200.

Total time given to the candidate to attempt the questions is 135 minutes.

Candidate can surf between questions and sections as many times as he wants.

For each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted.

For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given.
