Individuals including minors aged 10 years and above and NRIs, in single or joint names can open SBBJ Flexi Deposit account.

To avail the benefit under this scheme, you need to have a Savings Bank a/c

You can decide the threshold amount (Rs. 5,000/- or more), which will be maintained in your account.

After maintaining the threshold amount, the fixed deposits would be created for a minimum amount of Rs. 5000/- and thereafter in multiples of Rs. 1000/- for SB account.

This auto-sweep facility would be operative on daily basis on the balance available in the account at the commencement of business.

You can opt for any-one maturity for the TDRs/STDRs or else the deposits will be opened for 6 months.

You can draw on the deposits by merely issuing a cheque on the Savings account or through ATM
