The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by the sixteen National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to the undergraduate and post graduate programmes, i.e., BA LL.B & LL.M, respectively.

Pattern of CLAT UG paper:

Duration of the examination – 2 hours

Total number of MCQs – 200

Total marks for CLAT UG – 200

There was a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 marks were deducted for each of the wrong answers.

In the event of equal marks scored by two or more candidates in the CLAT 2015, the tie was broken by the following procedure and order:

Higher marks in the section of Legal aptitude
Higher age
Computerized draw of lots
