Pay scale of LIC development officer:
The scales of pay of the Development Officers shall be as under :
(1) 7440 - 450(2) - 8340 - 520 (2) - 9380 - 540 (17) - 18560;
(2) The pay referred to in sub-rule (1) and other allowances admissible to a under these rules shall be regulated in accordance with the Staff


Educational Qualification:
An applicant have to passed Bachelor's degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent recognized as such by the Central.

Age Limit:
Candidate age must be between the 21 years to 30 years.


Exam pattern :
In this exam the objective type questions will be asked

The objective type examination will consist of four tests viz.

2 hours allowed for this examination:
Subject No of Questions
Test of Reasoning 50
Test of English Language 50
Test of Numerical Aptitude 50
Test of General Awareness 50
Total 200

The LIC Development Officers exam pattern comprises of the following two stages:

Stage I: Written Examination
Stage II: Interview


Stage I: Written Examination
The written test set in English and Hindi comprises of
-Test of Reasoning
-Numerical Ability
-General English/Hindi
-General Knowledge.

Stage II: Interview
The candidates who successfully pass the written examination would be called for the Interview to finalize the selection procedure.
