I am pursuing civil engineering course and want to now that what is the expected salary of Civil Engineer in India? Also give details about M. Tech in civil engineering?

Civil engineering is a study of planning, designing and implementation of several structural activities. You will have many job opportunities in real estate industries and infrastructure development projects after civil engineering with good salaries.

After this course you will work for construction of various infrastructures include Bridges, Airport Runways, Skyscrapers, Irrigation Canals, Industrial Plant Buildings, etc.


Salaries of Civil Engineers in Government:

You will get good salary in public sectors if you clear exams like UPSC, PSU etc. In India salary of civil engineers at the entry level is from Rs.8000/- to Rs.12, 000/- per month and after experience and skills it will increase from Rs.20, 000/- to Rs.25, 000/-.


Salaries for Civil Engineers in Private:

Private firms provide high pay packages as compared to the public firms. At entry level private companies give salary up to Rs.30, 000/- per month and after experience it will range from Rs.50, 000/- to Rs.60, 000/- per month.


Salaries for Civil Engineers in Abroad:

The salary for a civil engineer in abroad is very high compared to India. They are paid from $520 to $710 per month in United States.
