SAIL Application Procedure For B.TECH Applicant

I am a B.tech 6th sem student and want to apply for SAIL . What is the Application Procedure?

SAIL is the abbreviated form of the Steel Authority of India .SAIL recruits candidates through entrance exam.
Being a B.tech 6th sem student you are not eligible for SAIL entrance exam .

In order to eligible for the SAIL entrance exam candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc. in Engg. Degree from recognized University.

In case the Applicants is a final-year student, then the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

Minimum marks required for PSUs companies is 60% for general category Applicants. 50% marks for the SC/ST/OBC/PH Applicants
Applicants age should be between 21 to 30 years..

Three years of relaxation is offered to OBC Applicants
No more than 5 years relaxation is granted to SC/ST Applicants
GATE score card is very important.
