RTU Grades
I want to get admission in the M.Tech degree in Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) so please tell me what the minimum grade is required in the qualifying exam to gat admission in the M.Tech course in Rajasthan Technical University?

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota has implemented the Model Curriculum for Undergraduate Degree Courses in Engineering & Technology. General rules for Credits: a) A credit of 166 will be required for a student to be eligible to get Undergraduate Degree in Engineering & Technology b) A credit of 125 (166-41) will be required for a student to be eligible to get Undergraduate Degree in Engineering & Technology admitted through Lateral Entry (LEEP). c) One is eligible to get B. Tech. (Honours) Degree, if one completes an additional 20 credits. These should be acquired through MOOCs only. d) The structure of the degree will be as follows: Degree Required Credits B. Tech. 166 B. Tech. (Honours) 166+20 (MOOC’s) Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in: Agriculture Engineering Aeronautical Engineering Automobile Engineering Civil Engineering Chemical Engineering Ceramic Engineering Computer Science Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering Electrical & Electronics Engineering Electronics Instrumentation & Control Engineering Information Technology Industrial Engineering Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering Petroleum Engineering Production and Industrial Engineering Textile Chemistry Textile Engineering Textile Technology Mining Engineering Petrochemical Engineering Pass Rules for B. Tech. (4 Yr. Program) The result is given at the end of each Semester Examination. Relative marks of a student shall be converted on 100 point scale by (marks obtained by students/ highest marks obtained in the paper) x 100. The rounding off shall be done only once and on the higher side. The grades shall be given to all the students as under: Relative Marks (x) Grade Grade Points x≥ 90 A+ 10 85 ≤ x< 90 A 9 80 ≤ x< 85 B+ 8 75 ≤ x< 80 B 7.5 70 ≤ x< 75 C+ 7 65 ≤ x< 70 C 6.5 60 ≤ x< 65 D+ 6 55 ≤ x< 60 D 5.5 50 ≤ x< 55 E+ 5 45 ≤ x< 50 E 4 x< 45 F 0 A+ Grade is awarded only if the marks obtained by the students in that subject are ≥ 75% For a Pass, one must obtain at least grade E for each theory and practical |
