RTU ac in RPET

Please give me the dates of the Rajasthan Technical University on which the RTU gives the detailed info related to RPET, its too urgent to know about it so will you please provide me?

Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan has announced the entrance exam dates for Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) exam, which will be conducted in the month of May 2012.
The RPET entrance exam will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012.

Important Dates:
RPET Online Option Form Fill Start Date: 2nd July 2012
RPET Online Option Form Fill Last Date: 11 July 2012
RPET College reporting date: 26th July 2012

Board of Technical Education Rajasthan conducts RPET exam for providing admission in engineering courses in the colleges under Rajasthan technical university.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification :

Candidate should secure minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non
creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan state) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the
final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) .

Candidate should studied Physics, Maths as optional subject at 10+2 level.

Age : 17 years.


RPET Exam Pattern:

The duration of the RPET exam will be three hours.

The RPET Exam Paper will consist of questions in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The total number of questions asked will be 120 with 40 questions from each subject.

Medium of language will be English and Hindi.

Each correct answer will be awarded one mark each

There is no negative marking for RPET .

In case of a difference in questions in the Hindi and the Engliah versions, the English version will be treated as valid
