Indian Railways invites applications for filling up the following 2030 Vacancies of Women Constable in Railway Protection Force (RPF) / Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) under Railway RPF RPSF Recruitment.

Last date for submission of application form - 01.03.2016 (05.30 PM)

As this year the dates were closed you can apply for the same next year.

Exam date: Still RPF exam date was not declared.

LATEST UPDATE– Railway Protection Force RPF will soon issue exam date for 2030 women constable recruitment exam, RPF will also release admit card for female constable examination soon in upcoming days

Pay Scale - Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2000

Total Number of Vacancies - 2030 Vacancies

RPF - 1827 Vacancies (UR-804, SC-264, ST-145, OBC-614)
RPSF - 203 Vacancies (UR-95, SC-23, ST-33, OBC-52)

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2016) -18 to 25 years i.e. a candidate must be born between 02.07.1991 and 01.07.1998 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification - 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / University.

Physical Standards
Height:
UR/OBC Candidates - Minimum 157 Cms
SC/ST Candidates - Minimum 152 Cms
Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese etc Candidates - Minimum 155 Cms

Recruitment Procedure

Recruitment process for the selection of RPF RPSF Women (Mahila) Constable will consist of Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement Test and Document verification.

Written Exam Pattern –

After scrutiny eligible candidates will have to undergo an Objective type written exam of 120 questions of one mark each. Question Paper for Railway Women (Mahila) Constable Written Exam will comprise of questions based on

General Awareness (50 questions)
Arithmetic (35 questions) and
General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 questions)

There will be negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Minimum 35% marks for UR/OBC candidates and minimum 30% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify the written exam.

Physical Tests

Qualified candidates of Written Exam will be called for Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test. The PET will be of qualifying nature and required to qualify the following events.

Qualified candidates of PET will be measured for eligibility with respect to height.
Run/Race - 800 Meters in 03.40 Minutes (One chance)
Long Jump - 12 Feet (Two chances)
High Jump - 03 Feet (Two chances)
