RPET 2012 Eligibility Criteria For Admission :

Educational Qualification :

The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is a pass with atleast 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non Creamy layer)” of Rajasthan state) .

Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech./B.E. courses shall be as under:

Compulsory Subjects :
Physics & Mathematics

Any one of the Optional Subjects :

(1) Chemistry (2) Bio-technology

(3) Computer Science (4) Biology

RPET (Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test) is the state-level entrance examination being conducted for admission to first year of undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor's degree in different disciplines of engineering (B.Tech. and B.E.) in various government-aided and private unaided technical institutions of Rajasthan.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed in the final exam of 10+2 of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan

2. Age Limits:
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1990 are eligible for taking 2015 exam.

RPET Syllabus:
Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test consists of questions from basic syllabus of Higher Secondary Exam.

RPET Pattern:
Physics: 40 Questions
Chemistry: 40 Questions
Mathematics: 40 Questions

RPET Exam Date:
RPET Entrance Exam is normally held in the month of May of every year.
