I want to fill the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) application form. Will you please provide the steps to fill the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test application form ?

In order to appear in the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test applicants must pass the 10+2 or Class XII in science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates).

Students are required to complete the following steps while submitting RPET online application form

STEP 01: Deposit application form fee

• Applicants can contact any e-mitra or CSC kiosk center or authorised center and deposit Rs 815/- (Rs 800/- application fee and Rs 15/- e-mitra service charges).

• The kiosk will generate a 16 digit token number.

• The cost of application form is Rs 800.

STEP 02: keep documents ready for filling application form

•Scanned image of your signature in JPEG format (Maximum 50 KB file size).

•Scanned image of your photograph in JPEG format (Maximum 100 KB file size).

• Copy of X, XI and XII marksheets.

•Receipt issued by E-mitra containing your token number.

STEP 03: Filling Of Online Application Form

• First Read instructions carefully before filling online application form.

• Entries of application form must be filled as required.

• Upload the passport sized photograph and signature.

• Changes in application form are only permitted till final submission.

STEP 04. Submit Application And Take Printout Of Online Application Form


STEP 05:Submission Of Application Form (Hardcopy) To Office

• Attach all required documents as mentioned in the check list provided under General Instructions.

• Write application form number on each document.

• Send hardcopy of application form by either registered or speed post(not through courier).

Hey as The Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan will conduct the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test

Qualification required

Candidate should be 10+2 or Class XII in science stream from Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan or any other recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates).

Exam pattern

The RPET paper will consist of the questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, the question will be based on syllabus of class 11th and 12th.

The duration of the paper will be 3 hours.

The paper comprises of 120 questions, 40 from each subject.

The paper will be in Bilingual mode i.e. Hindi and English.

The candidates will be awarded one mark for each right answer.

Tentative dates

Date of commencement for filling of the online application : March 2016

Last Date of depositing the fees through e-Mitra/CSC network : April 2016

Date of closure for filling of the online application : April 2016

Hard copy can be submitted up to:- April 2016

RPET-2016 will be conducted on:- May 2016

Documents required at the time of filling online form

Scanned image of his/her Photograph in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 100 KB)

Scanned image of his/her Signature in jpg format (image size Maximum up to 50 KB)

Copy of mark sheets of X, XI and XII (if passed already) examination.

Receipt issued by e-Mitra containing the Token number.

Details of income of his/her parents from all income sources.
