RIMC Admission Form and Written Exam

I want to prepare for RIMC so please tell me that how can I get admission form and suggest books for preparation of written exam?

The RIMC (Rashtriya Indian Military College) is a public school for boys situated in Doon Valley, Dehradun in India. The RIMC is a feeder institution for the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and subsequently the Indian Armed Forces.


Application form:
Application form can be obtained either by:

1. Demand Draft:
The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by registered post/ speed post by sending a written request with an account payee bank demand draft of Rs.400/- (for Registered post) or Rs.450/- (for Speed Post) for General Candidates and Rs.355/- (for Registered post) or Rs.405/- (for Speed Post) for SC/ST candidates

Demand draft will be made in favour of:
The Commandant RIMC Dehradun
Drawee Branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan
Dehradun, (Bank Code-01576), Uttarakhand

2. Challan:
Receive application form and booklet of old question papers, a candidate has to pay through challan which is available in RIMC website.

Age Criteria:
Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 11 years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01st Jul 2015

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC

Scheme of Examination:
a) Written Examination:
English (1000-1200 hrs)
Mathematics (1400-1530 hrs)
General Knowledge paper (1000-1100 hrs)

b) Viva-Voce

c) Medical Examination

Fee:
Fee at RIMC is heavily subsidized by the Central Govt. The fee is presently Rs 26400/- per year.
