Exam pattern
The Exam will be held in three phases – Prelims, Mains and Interview
The Preliminary Examination will comprise of three sections – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability.
The Preliminary Exam will carry 100 marks.
The Mains Examination will comprise of 5 sections – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
The Mains Examination will carry 200 marks.
All the tests except the English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi
Use of keyboard is restricted during the exam. The candidates will have to select correct options using the mouse.
Both the Prelims and Mains Examination will comprise of Objective Type Questions.
Candidates will have to qualify in each section both in Prelims and Mains Examination.
Candidates qualifying the Prelims Exam will be called for the Mains Examination. Subsequently, those qualifying the Mains Examination will be called for Interview.

Mark to be assigned for one correct answer : 01 mark
Total number of question : 100
Total marks : 100
Total time duration for the exam : 01 hour

Mains Examination
Mark to be assigned for one correct answer : 01 mark
Total number of question : 200
Total marks : 200
Total time duration for the exam : 02 hour

Negative marking is applicable in both the tests.

Notes: The Scores of Online Examination will be obtained by adopting the following procedure :

(i) The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying the penalty for wrong answers.

(ii) The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores.

(iii) Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.

(iv) Test-wise scores and scores on total are reported with decimal points up to two digits.
