Re: Requirements for Quinnipiac University Admissions

Quinnipiac University is situated at Mount Carmel. This is a private, nonsectarian, coeducational university which is situated in Hamden, Connecticut, United States at the foot of Sleeping Giant State Park.

Admissions Requirements:
High school students should take a college preparatory sequence which includes:
At least four years of English
Three years of mathematics (physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing and physician assistant applicants should have four years)
Two or more years of science (all health science applicants are expected to have biology and chemistry; physical therapy applicants should also have physics)
Two years of social science.
Two years of a foreign language
Three academic electives

Deadlines:
Fall Semester (begins in August):
Nov. 15 - Freshmen entry physical therapy, physician assistant and nursing applicants
Jan. 3 - Accelerated Nursing program applicant deadline for students who have a bachelor's degree
Feb. 1 - Candidate reply date, deposit due for those freshmen applicants admitted Early Decision
Feb. 1 - All regular ('rolling') freshmen admission applications
March 1 - Transfer applicants in nursing, OT, diagnostic imaging and athletic training
March 1 - International student applications
April 1 - All remaining transfer applications
May 1 - Candidate reply date, deposit due postmarked by May 1, or submitted online.

Spring Semester (January):
Dec. 1 - Freshmen applications
Nov. 1 - International Student applications
Dec. 1 - Transfer student applications
Jan. 3 - Candidate reply date, deposit due for those admitted for the spring semester

FAFSA and CSS Profile
Dec. 1 - CSS Profile (2014-2015) due for freshmen early decision applicants for Fall 2014
Dec. 1 - CSS Profile and FAFSA (2013-2014) deadline for those applying for Spring 2014
March 1 - CSS Profile and FAFSA (2014-2015) deadline for all freshmen and transfer fall applicants
April 1 - CSS Profile and FAFSA (2014-2015) deadline for all returning Quinnipiac students for fall

Tuition + Fees
For the 2014-2015 school year, tuition and fees are $40,670 for full-time students plus $14,490 for room and board (freshmen). That's a total of $55,160.
