Karnataka 2nd PUC :
Duration : 1 year

Eligibility :
You should have completed S.S.L.C. Karnataka State.
A candidate should have completed 17 years of age.

Required Documents :
SSLC Original Marks Card,
Original Transfer Certificate,
5 passport size photographs,
Address Proof with two sets of Xerox copies.

Courses :
Languages
Kannada, English, Tamil, Telugu, malayalam, urdu, Hindi, Sanskrit (Candidates can select any 2 of the above)

Optional - Commerce
Geography, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy
History, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy

Optional - Arts
History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology
History, Economics, Political Science, Kannada Maj

Minimum pass criteria :
A minimum of 30 marks in each subject and an aggregate of 35% of marks in that part is a must to pass First Year and Second Year PUC examination.

Example:
A minimum of 70 Marks in part-I
Language-1 30
Language-2 40

Part-I Total 70
A minimum of 140 Marks in part-II Subject-1 30

Subject-2 30
Subject- 3 30
Subject- 4 50
Part-II Total 140

Grand Total - 210 out of 600 Marks

The 2nd PUC (Pre-University Course) conducted by KPUE (Karnataka Pre-University Education) is for duration of one year. Those who are unable to pursue their studies after SSLC may make use of this unique study plan of KPUE, Bangalore.


Duration of II PUC correspondence:
1 year


Eligibility for II PUC correspondence:
Candidate should have completed S.S.L.C. Karnataka State. A candidate should have completed 17 years of age.


Required Documents for II PUC correspondence:
SSLC Original Marks Card, Original Transfer Certificate, 5 passport size photographs, Address Proof with two sets of Xerox copies.
