Here I am giving you information about required eligibility for Karnataka administrative service examination organized by union public service commission

Eligibility:
You have to passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Those appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible for the KAS examination.

Age Limit
The minimum Age of the candidate must be 21 years and not more than 35 years.
SC/ST - 5 years relaxation
OBC - 3 years relaxation

Selection Procedure:
Preliminary Exam
Mains Exam
Interview

Attempts at the Examination:
Unlimited number of attempts in case of candidate belongs to SC/ST ( Age limit considered).
7 attempts in case of candidate belongs Other backward caste.
5 attempts to General merit candidates.

The pre exam having 2 papers:
Paper1 General studies
Paper2 Mostly as CSAT paper2

Mains Exam
Optional Subject 1 Paper1 and Paper 2
Optional Subject 2 Paper1 and Paper2
General studies paper Paper1 and Paper2

Compulsory English and Compulsory Kannada
Personality Test
