SSC (staff selection commission) conducts written exam to select candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) and for Junior Engineers (Electrical).

Here are the tentative dates of the exam:
Date of Exam: 1st week of April 2013
Closing Date: 1st week of February 2013

Eligibility:
For applying for the posts, candidates must be Indians or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 27 years and candidates must have Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an institution recognized by the Central Government.
