Recruitment of Constables GD in BSF CISF CRPF

Can you tell me about the last date to apply for the recruitment for the post of Constables GD in BSF CISF CRPF which is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission)?

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) recruits candidates for Constable Vacancies in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA & SSF. Applications could be submitted through both Online and Offline mode.

Last Date to Apply- 23 Feb 2015
For Remote Areas- 2 March 2015

Age Limits-

The candidates should be between 18 to 23 years.

The age relaxation to the candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per the government rules.

The proof of Date of Birth is considered only through the DOB recorded in the 10th/ Secondary Certificate or equivalent certificate.

Reserved Category Certificate-

The candidates belonging to any reserved category need to supply the SC/ OBC/ ST or any other category certificate issued by a competent authority.

Educational Qualification-

The candidates must have passed the 10th/ Matriculation from a recognized board/ institution.

Selection Process-

The Staff Selection Commission prepares the merit list of category wise & state wise candidates.

The Force allocation is made by Nodal CRPF/ MHA.

The final result is declared by CRPF/ MHA.

The minimum cut off percentage marks for the selection is as 35% for General/ Ex-servicemen category and 33% for SC/ST and OBC category.

The candidates applying for the SSC Constable GD vacancies need to undergo with the following exams-

Physical Standards-Height

For Male Candidates 170 cms
For Female Candidates 157 cms

Chest
For Male Candidates only
Unexpanded : 80 cms
Minimum expansion 5 cms
