The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the central bank of India which is wholly owned by the Government of India. This bank was established in the year 1935. It is the umbrella network for numerous activities, all related to financial sector, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of RBI. The Reserve Bank also has a majority stake in the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development.
