Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for 610 posts of Assistants in various offices of RBI spread across various cities. Candidates can apply for the Post of Assistant in RBI from November 7 to 28, 2016. The Preliminary exam of RBI Assistant 2016 will be conducted on December 23 and 24, 2016. Important dates- Release of Application Form 07/11/2016 Start date of filling up the Application Form 07/11/2016 Last date for Submission of Online Application 28/11/2016 Last date for payment of fees (Online and at bank branches) 07/11/2016 to 28/11/2016 Date of closure for edit 28/11/2016 Date of Preliminary Examination 23/12/2016 and 24/12/1026 Issue of Admit Card for Preliminary Examination First Week of December 2016 Declaration of Prelims Result January,2017 Date of Main Examination January,2017 Issue of Admit Card for Mains Examination January,2017 Declaration of Mains Result February/March 2017 Issue of Interview Call Letter To be notified later Declaration of Final Result To be notified later RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in the aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) Age: The candidates applying for the post should be between 20 and 28 years Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates belonging to different categories as per government rule. Candidates applying for the post should be proficient in the language of the state or any of the states falling under the recruiting office. RBI Assistant Exam Pattern RBI Assistant Exam will be conducted in three stages – Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination and Interview. The Preliminary Examination of RBI Assistant will comprise of three papers – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability of 100 marks. However, the Mains Examination of RBI Assistant will comprise of 5 papers – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge of 200 marks. There will be the penalty for wrong answers. The total time duration of Preliminary Examination is 1 hour while the time-duration of the Mains Examination is 2 hours. |
