Rayat Bahra University (RBU), a private university established in 2001 and was registered in 2014. It is empowered for awarding degrees vide letter No. 8-83/2014 (CPP-J/PU) dated 26 September 2014, under section 22 of UGC Act.


The university offers a choice based flexible learning system, enabling an interdisciplinary approach for learners to learn at own pace and choose electives from other available courses as well as take up some additional/value-added courses to increase their skill/employability.


D. Pharmacy

D. Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Sciences is an undergraduate diploma program in pharmacy to enable students to understand basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. The program enables to register as Pharmacists after the course is completed. These are however restricted either to community or hospital pharmacy stores. The course structure includes basic subjects in pharmacy along with guest lectures and industrial visits.

On completion of the program, students go for higher studies in pharmacy by joining B. Pharm, B. Pharm-Lateral or Pharm D programs.
