Ravenshaw University is a co-educational state university situated in Cuttack, Odisha, on the east coast of India.

The college was shifted to its present site in the erstwhile Chakkar Padia in 1921.

Ravenshaw University is all set to have a new girls’ hostel by the end of 2014.

The foundation stone of the Mahanadi Girls Hostel would be laid by Vice- Chancellor B C Tripathy on Thursday to mark the Foundation Day of the university.
