The Ravenshaw University is a co-educational state university situated in Cuttack, Odisha on the eastern coast of India.

The University was founded as Ravenshaw College in 1868, the institution became a university in 2006.

The entire function of examination section is being governed by different provisions of the Orissa Universities Act, 1990 and the statutes, ordinances and rules and regulations made therein and the Ravenshaw University Act, 2005.
