The Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth was established in 1988 with one of the objectives of providing knowledge of Ayurveda and started functioning since 1991 at the New Delhi.

The courses offered at the RAV are as listed given below:

Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV)

Training:
This course involves training in clinical practices and Ayurvedic Pharmacy under the guidance of eminent practicing Vaidyas/Scholars in different parts of the country.

Duration of course:
One year (for both graduates and post graduates of Ayurveda)


Eligibility:
The candidate should have BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) or MD (Ay)/MS (Ay) from any institution and university included in 2nd schedule of IMCC ACT-1970.

Age limit:
The candidate’s age should be Maximum 27 years for graduates and 30 years for Post graduates.

Stipend: Rs 15,820/- plus DA as applicable, per month

Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth was established on 11th Feb, 1988 with one of the objectives of promoting knowledge of Ayurveda and started functioning since 1991.

Courses list:
Member of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (MRAV)

Subjects :
This course is offered in the subjects of Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Vagbhatta, Dravyaguna and Rasashastra.

Eligibility:
Postgraduate degree in Ayurveda in related speciality .

Age Limit:
Maximum 32 years. Relaxation up to 40 years will be given to regular teachers duly sponsored by central or state government. 3 year age relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.

Duration of the course:
Two years.

Certificate of Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (CRAV)

Training :
This course involves training in the clinical practices of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Pharmacy under the direct mentoring of eminent practicing / rasa Vaidyas in different parts of the country.

Eligibility:
BAMS (Ayurvedacharya) Degree.

Age Limit:
Maximum 30 years for graduate and 32 years for postgraduate. Relaxation up to 35 years will be given to in service vaidya duly sponsored by central or state Government.3 year age relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates.

Duration of the course:
One year.
