I want to join Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) and heard that ITBP conducting open recruitment rally want details related to this. Can you please tell me what the Educational Qualification and physical standard required for joining this rally?

Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India conducted open recruitment rally in border districts Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand as Special recruitment drive.

A pre-training to guide the eligible and interested candidates organized from 07.10.2014 to 22.10.2014.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.

Total Number of Vacancies: 220
(UR-127, SC-50, ST-05, OBC-38)

Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as on 01 August 2014).

Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or University.

Physical Standards:

Height:
Gen/SC and OBC- NCL category: 170 cm
For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 165 cm
ST category: 162.5 cm
Chest (Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm)
Gen/SC and OBC- NCL category: 80 cm
For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 78 cm
ST category: 76 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

Selection/Recruitment Process:

The selection process consist of Height Bar Test, Race(PET), Physical Standard Test(PST), Documentation, Biometric identification, Written Test (100 Marks), Merit Lists and Medical Examination.
