For Fresher candidate:
Candidates must have passed H.S. (2nd. Div.) + Honours + Master’s degree.

For deputed candidate:
Candidates must have passed H.S. + Graduation + working experience as a full-time salaried staff in any Govt./Govt. aided Libraries/recognized institution(Govt. or semi Govt.)

For Certificate holders in Library Science:
Candidates must have passed H.S. (2nd Division) + Graduation / Graduation with Honours

For SC/ST:
Candidates must have passed Graduation + Masters’ Degree

Candidates must have passed Bachelor of Library & Information Science.
