For deputed candidate: H.S. + Graduation + working experience as a full-time salaried staff in any Govt./Govt. aided Libraries/recognized institution(Govt. or semi Govt.)
For Certificate holders in Library Science: H.S. (2nd Division) + Graduation / Graduation with Honours
For SC/ST: (i) Graduation + Masters’ Degree. (ii) Passed in Bachelor of Library & Information Science.
