Re: Quota for Medical seats in Gujarat CET

GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is a State level entrance examination for colleges and institutions within Gujarat.
It is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar for students who belong to the state of Gujarat.

It provides students with the opportunity to join undergraduate courses related to the field of Medicine such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc.

Quota for medical seats:
The counselling will be conducted for 85% ‘State Quota’ seats in Government and Government Aided Medical and Dental Colleges in Gujarat.
The counselling is also conducted for 75% ‘State Quota’ seats in Private Medical and Dental colleges in Gujarat.
Admissions into the remaining 15% seats in Government Medical and Dental colleges in Gujarat are conducted by the DGHS under the ‘All India Quota’ on the basis of AIPMT results.

Eligibility:
The applicant should have passed your Class 12th or equivalent examinations from a school situated in the state of Gujarat which is recognized by the GSEB or the CBSE or the CISCE.
