SCRA Exam is a Special Class Railway Apprentices exam.
A candidate who is a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or Bhutan, can also eligible for this exam, and a candidate who is a Tibetan refugee are living in India from 1962 can also apply for this exam.

A candidate must have minimum 17 years or maximum 21 years.
A candidate must be passed in 12th class with a recognized board and with Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
Graduates with Mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects can also apply.
