Yes, there is an Entrance exam for getting admission for B.Sc in Biotechnology in Punjab University. The exam is known as PU CET (Punjab University Common Entrance Test). The candidate should have passed 10+2 system of examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The admission to this course is based on the merit list of Common Entrance Test (CET) examination conducted by the Panjab University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics combination.
