Is Anan University released TNEA Counselling Rank List, bcoz my cousin participated in TNEA exam, now waiting for college allotted to him, when will Anna University published TNEA rank list & how can I get Anna Univ TNEA Counselling Rank List???

Sorry to say you but at this time there is Publication of Rank list is done by Anna University. The Anna University does not publish any news and announcements for rank list.

TNEA Rank list is generated primarily based on the candidates cutoff scores. When there is a conflict two or more student has same cutoff score, a specific methodology is being used by Anna University.

The rank plays vital role with regard to the availability of colleges and courses in the counselling. The top rank holder gets more chance to select the college and course at his decision.

Methodology of Ranking:

Cutoff Score
Fourth Subject Score
Date of Birth
Random Number

The TNEA rank list will be prepared based on total marks of 200.

It may happen that two or more candidates may obtain the same marks, in which case the inter-se merit between the candidates will be determined based on the following priority:

% of marks in Mathematics

% of marks in Physics

% of marks in the fourth optional subject

Date of birth of the candidate (the older candidate will get preference)

Assigned random number (higher the random number, the higher the priority)
