Here I am giving you information about salary for clerk post in public sector bank situated in India below :


Bank Clerical Cadre Salary at Joining Time (as on 27.04.2014)
The salary range for clerical positions will be in the range of
7200-20000.


Allowances :
Dearness Allowance (DA)::
The current DA (for the month of November 2013, December 2013, January 2014 has been fixed at 96.15% of the Basic Pay).


HRA :
It is depends on the place of posting ..
For Metro Cities : 13978 (approx 14000)
For Places with 9% HRA : 13906.80
For places with 7% HRA : 13798.80
For other places : 13762.80

Salary pay scale will be changed time to time according to rules of government..

Hi friend ,the initial Basic Pay of a clerk will be Rs.11765/-


In addition to Basic Pay, clerks in banks also get the following allowances :-

(a) Dearness Allowance (DA) :

DA in banks is revised on quarterly basis (i.e. in the months of February, May, August and November) based on the CPI as declared by Government of India.


(b) Special Allowance:

This has been added in 10th BPS (wef 01/11/2012) for clerks it 7.75% on which DA is also payable

(c) HRA :

It depends on the place of posting and it can be either 10% or 9% or 7.5% depending on the place of posting.


The above indicates that the total salary of a clerk on joining at a metro station will be around Rs.18,550/.

However, the total salary of a clerk who has to join in rural area will be about Rs.18250
